It should a run-off, and the candidate that displays more zeal, and traits needed for the mantle to lead Uganda would be assigned the task.
I think that with the due process taking effect in the flag bearer campaigns, it wouldn’t carry significance if it were not carried out. This a demonstration of the democratic process that the FDC party has made obligational, and in a way promoting. If you will preach democratic means to the people, then you will have to be exemplary in lead. I commend the effort, and process.

As we build institutions that tolerate varying views and internal democracy, a test comes in the names of Besigy Vs Muntu and how this is going to be handled will determine whether we are ready to take on this country as the ruling political party or not. Its however worth noting that if this is to work, both the supporters and candidates need to accept that they are not the absolute truth but absolute companions that need each other because our goal is not a presidential candidate but A PRESIDENT for Uganda. Congs Bwana Besigy and Muntu.
Thanks for your response Dr Besigye. Indeed, this is the same way I, once in a while give similar words of encouragement to Anne Mugisha who is my choice for the presidency, come 2016, if the Lord may permit me to witness.
Another piece of advice to you is that you and Gen. Muntu should keep pertinent to the cardinal aims and objectives of the party and hold FDC’s unity country-wide. Given your kind words towards Gen. Muntu in Mbale, despite the constant propaganda by NRM in their notoriety to pervert the course of justice, you in FDC are demonstrating to the world the essence of true democracy and co-existence for different shades of political opinion and leaning, which have no signs in NRM-0. The illusion Dr. Besigye, of taking this country for a ride in an uncertain political path for so long, will one day be overcome by a popular cool breeze of peoples’ will that will blow and sweep across this politically desolate country, which is so firmly gripped in the mood of despair and indignation.
Majority of Ugandans are not merely crying but are weeping endlessly over the socio-political and economic ostracism met upon the people of this great nation by ever increasingly, galloping unemployment, especially, among the youth and qualified graduates who so frustratingly and desperately, go on in search for jobs which are never in sight, in a country, with a head drooped in a deep slumber of poverty and hopelessness where a small clique is on the control of the steering wheel of the nation’s economy with one man’s vision of directing her affairs.
Please, take courage and forge ahead for, we are with you at every challenge you face.
God bless Uganda,
One People, One Uganda!

As FDC strongsupporter i advise members of our party to vote Dr Besigye as our flagbearer because changes in the party means weakness that,s why NRM doesnt change Museveni .the idea of interparty coalition is excellent ,so Norbert mao should be advised to join, so that Besigye becomes a driver and mao a conductor and they drive president Museveni without stopping up to his home in Rwatura to look after his cows.because we are tired of corruption in his government.
