I thank you FDC for the sacrifices youve made for democracy to thrive in Uganda. The struggle has just begun. I am a peace loving Ugandan who lives in California. The only way i get updates of what is happening is through your website which is not updated unfortunately. There are people in your leadership we would want to contact but any effort through the website ends in vain. We are behind your 2011 bid for presidency and victory is ours. One Uganda, one people"

By the way, we have a big electorate to win. I recently lost a sister to HIV but before she passed on, I had a glimpse into the deteriorating health services. First, the stigma and marginalization has taken on a new turn. two the paediatric HIV/AIDS care is non-existent in the rural areas. Can we come up with health care reforms to enhance universal access to ART for every Ugandan who is eligible and put in place a system to monitor its effective distribution? Please put in plae a solid package to market your health care and education with improved quality. Rural electrification is a failed venture. If a person has a grass thatched house and can not afford paraffin, how will they afford the wiring of their premises, buy the energy saving bulbs (4,000-20,000 each), I mean let us be serious. With the kind of billing where one bulb user pays 30,000/month, where on earth will a person who earns 1$/week be able to get the money to pay for power. is it a felt need or a political gimmick? Let us capitalize on what has failed and repackage them for messages that bring hope. Good luck

Congragulations to all FDC delegates for the smooth conclusion of the Deleagates' conference and the election of the party flag bearer for 2011 elections.
I would like to extend my congragulations to the the president elect;Dr.RTD Colonel Kiiza Besigye and RTD LT General;Mungish Muntu for the healthy elections.

The remaining task is now to kick start the campaign, mobilize Ugandans a as key resource to end the dictatorial regime of President Museveni.I would also advice the media wing of the party to make the web site known to Ugandans,by using the newspaper,TVs etc to be a platform for sharing ideas and informations.

The tsunami is coming for NRM in 2011,we are determine to root out the corrupt regime that is characterized by torture and with baseless detentions.

When M7 says that ” he cannot be removed by a piece of paper” implying no matter what happens , government or presidency cannt be changed through an election . Can the Constitutional lawyers assist us to make a proper implmentation of the available laws and the constitution ( which a head of state must adhere to) because this kind of statement could lead to the inciting of violence if the population loose faith and confidence in the ability of of a siiting government being able to conduct a a free and fair “paper election”.Can one file a case in Court against the Presidency or again he can get away because as long as he is still president he is not prosecutable. Please any one out there to advise.

As FDC strongsupporter i advise members of our party to vote Dr Besigye as our flagbearer because changes in the party means weakness that,s why NRM doesnt change Museveni .the idea of interparty coalition is excellent ,so Norbert mao should be advised to join, so that Besigye becomes a driver and mao a conductor and they drive president Museveni without stopping up to his home in Rwatura to look after his cows.because we are tired of corruption in his government.
