  2. As a democrat, I fully support and respect both the two FDC flag bearer contenders. However, what i am not happy about is the language some party suppoters are using like for example refering to our Party President Dr. Kizza Besigye not being different from Museveni because of his vying for the 2nd term as FDC flag bearer. This man Besigye has suffered the tear gas, the chains, jailing humiliations of blackout at radio stations and the killing of his borther Musasizi at the hands of Museveni. Guys let us be realistic and considerate. How can you compare museveni’s terms as president of Uganda with Besigye’s terms of opposition leadership of jail, exile in south africa, court trumped charges and black mambas besieges.
I support General Muntu as a capable leader who turned down M7 ministerial post because he had seen institutionalised corruption and later joining hands with the opposition although he was not with us during 2001 election beatings, harrassment and killings.

Hon Muntu i salute u but please wait for 2016 when i be vying for Kibale county against Museveni’s son Frank Tumwebaze.
President Besigye is my choice and ai call upon all FDC members to support him. I have no doubt tat he can beat M7 hands down come 2011.

  3. Mr Muntu, Thank you for your strategy however you need to know that you have alot to do.Well, you have the Elite
support who are few and can know who is capale in Fdc. Please broaden your appeal to peasants in the villages,
and low educated Ugandans bse they carry the highest no of people and are the most ignorant. Besigye has them and you
    equally need them.
    God bless you.

  4. I have been a moderate i belong to no party but i think that has changed simply because of Muntu’s strategy of capturing power. I have been listening to radio talk shows and the last presidential debate on KFM . I have really liked the way Gen. Muntu tackles issues especially his focus on what to do when victory comes FDC’s way. All the oppositon has been talking about is capturing power and getting rid of Museven, there is no talk about they are going to do. Last night Gen Muntu tackled that issue conclusively. I hope and pray that u go through because many of us dont belong to any party but if you succeed believe me you will win over many of us neutrals
